Three brothers and sisters (Ilyong, Myungju, and Soryong) who lost their parents from a car accident, and their two cousins, Samryong and Ongee, are living with their grandfather in "Beverly Hills" Apartment.
Their grandfather used to be an actor, and still keeps the dream of making movies.
He jumps into a movie production, but his movie failed, and he loses all the money that his children has left him.
Now all he has left is a small apartment. The children, however, grow up delightfully, except for Ilyong who starts boxing because of his anger towards his grandfather.
The grandfather once again tries to make a movie with a swindler, and even loses the apartments; his family now moves to a small rotted house on a mountain. For the hatred towards his grandfather, Ilyong quits school and leaves home.
The grandfather also leaves home and wanders around streets like a homeless person.
Kimshee recognizes Ilyong s talent as a boxer, and takes him in his house to make him a champion. Ilyong becomes more and more famous as a boxer while his friends cheer for him. He even enrolls in a night school.
In the mean time, Myungju delivers newspapers every morning to support the family, and Ongee studies hard while taking care of her brother Samryong, who has an autism.
Soryong wants to be a movie star. He hates the poverty and doesn't get good grades from school, but he lives a bright happy life.
After numerous matches, Ilyong becomes good enough to fight Han Kangsu who Ilyong has admired for a long time.
When he becomes an successful boxer, the grandfather comes back home. Ilyong finally forgives his grandfather, and now the family is reunited a happy home once again. When Ilyong s family invites Ilyong s girlfriend Jinsun for dinner, they find that they need one more spoon for they only have six.
So, Ongee takes out their parents spoons that she has cherished for a long time.
Now, Everyone turns very happy that there are seven people gathered around the dinner table for the first time; the lucky number, seven.
A little later, Ilyong becomes a boxer great enough to fight in Las Vegas.

	Grandfather
	He used to be a movie actor. He ends up raising his five grandchildren because his two sons and daughter-in-laws died from car accidents. His sons left him a lot of money as an inheritance, but while making movies, he loses all of it including the apartment. So, his grandson, Ilyong, gets angry at him and leaves home. Grandfather too leaves and wanders around streets like a homeless person. He goes though hunger and pain on the street, but he is proud of his grandson, Ilyong, for he has become a great boxer. 	Ilyong
	He used to be a moderate student with good grades, but after his parents die and his grandfather mindlessly loses all the money, he quits school and starts boxing. He likes a highschool girl Jinsun very much. He appears to be blunt, but he loves his family very much. His cousin, Samryong, gets upset one day because he's lost his dog. So, Ilyong buys him a puppy. He also helps his family with the money he earns from boxing. His talent is recognized by Kimshee, and he becomes a professional boxer. At the end, he makes peace with his grandfather, and becomes good friends with Jinsun too.
	Myungju
	She is a pretty girl with a pretty mind. She is also smart. To support her family, she delivers newspapers every morning, and takes care of the children like a mother. For a while, she is angry at her grandfather, but soon she forgives him. She is always worried about her grandfather and her older brother.
	Soryong
	He can't stand the poverty because his family had been wealthy before. He likes to imitate Hong Kong's movie stars, and always makes Samryong cry. He annoys everyone by talking back, and never wins an argument with Ongee. He gets punished for not studying, but he is always energetic. He is very proud of his brother, Ilyong.
	Samryong
	He has got autism since he lost his parents. He is a 3rd grader, but studies in the 2nd grade classroom with Ongee. He is very dependent on Ongee. He is very stubborn, and cries very easily. He raises a puppy that he has picked up on the street, but the puppy leaves him. Now he raises a puppy that Ilyong has bought him.
	Ongee
	Samryong s little sister. She is very smart and mature for a 2nd grader. She takes care of her brother Samryong who has autism; Samryong follows her with trust. She is the gentlest of all. Kids in the neighborhood makes fun of her, saying she is the ugliest girl in the whole neighborhood, which breaks her heart. But, Myungju and Samryong cheer her up. She cherishes her parents silver-wares and, whenever she thinks of them, she goes through the silver-wares by herself.
	Jinsun
	A highschool girl that Ilyong falls in love with at the first sight. Smart and beautiful. She is a daughter of a very wealthy family. As she spends time with Ilyong, she begins to like his purity and courage. She hopes that Ilyong would stop boxing and go back to school, but later, she becomes a big sponsor of his. She is also a wise girl; she tries not to insult Ilyong s family.
